I’d like to welcome you to my new blog. I’ll be updating this blog with information about some of the work I do and will give you a chance to see what I’m up to. I’ll do my best to keep it up to date while I’m working on projects but, depending on the project, this may not always be possible. Even so, in any given week, you can expect that the post frequency will be quite low. Post frequency will likely pick up as I get ready to start a project and then will hopefully continue as I work on the project.
In addition to blogging about ongoing projects, I also plan on occasionally publishing photos that you won’t see in my portfolio. They might be photos that didn’t quite make the cut or they could be photos that might give you more background on a photo of mine that you have seen.
Also, as the title of the blog suggests, I’ll be blogging about some of the photos of mine that you have seen and providing a little background information to put each photo into context.

Shawn Duffy is a freelance commercial photographer and photojournalist based in the Washington, DC Metro area. Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, he is a self-taught photographer who has decided to merge his passion for photography with his intense interest in the world around him.
